We use this information to communicate with you and for registration to events, competitions and coaching.

We gather data through a variety of methods, these include:

  • Contact form on our website or by email;
  • Telephone and other contact;
  • Event registration forms.

When will we delete this data?

We may keep information for different periods of time for different purposes as required by law or best practice.

Who has access to this data and who do we share it with?

Only those members of staff who need information to carry out their role have access to that information.

We do not share information with third parties, except, where necessary, Whittington Heath Golf Club.

Where will the data be stored?

This data is securely stored as appropriate to its format (in an online membership system, as electronic documents in a secure storage solution or as paper records in locked filing systems,). We take data security seriously.

What are your rights to your Personal Data

As a Data Subject you have rights over your own data that you can exercise at any time, these are:

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Information provided via contact forms on our website will only be used for the purposes for which it is intended.
